The Dan Carson Memorial Scholarship
Created in 2000 to honor the life and legacy of Dan Carson. Dan tragically lost his life in a car accident during his Junior year at Lancaster High School. He was an integral part of the Lancaster Baseball and Football teams. He was a leader for his school and exhibited a great amount of Gale Pride. Dan was proud to be a Gale and wanted nothing more than to be successful on and off the field.
The scholarship ($1,000) is awarded to a player that exhibits all the attributes that Dan possessed on and off the baseball diamond. The player needs to be in good academic standing, have Gale Pride, and love the game of baseball.
