Shane Hart
JV Head Coach
Shane Hart joined the Gales coaching staff in the fall of 2009 and will serve as the Freshman coach for the 2017 season after taking a three year hiatus to finish Graduate School and raise three children.
Coach Hart graduated from Whitehall-Yearling High School in Whitehall, OH, earned his Bachelor's degree at The Ohio State University, then his Master's degree at the American College of Education. He taught Spanish at Lancaster High School for 10 years, and has been transformed into a proud Gale. This pride has become ingrained into his personality and helps define his personality. Coach Hart is currently a site coordinator at Gorsuch West.
He has coached basketball from Junior High to the Varsity levels for 8 years.
Outside of coaching, Coach Hart enjoys spending time with his wife Amy and three children, Chase, Liam, and Hailey.
